FIRE 炎 FIRE O'yafko Real #005

Fukuoka born and bred Reggae MC & Selecter “Fire Fire” is as close as you get to a real Japanese Reggae MC. Named after his favourite pastime to “burn”, Fire moved to Jamaica in 2002 with no language ability, no money but with the rhythm of Reggae beating in his heart. After an initial awakening to the poverty stricken side of Jamaica, Fire slowly integrated into the local music scene. Learning Patois as he went, Fire played regular street events - some packing over 1,500 attendees. Forced to return to Japan in 2006 after becoming dangerously thin Fire now plays two regular events in Oyafuko - “Seasons”@Tsuti and “Red Floor”@Stand-Bop as well as one-time events in around Fukuoka.
